Activecooks Community Guidelines and Upload Rules

Activecooks.com has some general guidelines and rules to keep our community safe and friendly for everyone to enjoy. We’re asking everyone to respect these rules and each other when using the activecooks.com site; we’d hate to kick anyone out =).

This is a community for cooks who wish to share their recipes, videos and photos with others around the world. Please treat others the way you want to be treated.

General Rules

Be kind and respectful to other users when posting a comment to another person’s video. There is zero tolerance for harassment, vulgar language, invasion of privacy, threats, stalking and other inappropriate behavior. Anyone caught doing these things will be banned indefinitely from Activecooks.com without warning.

If you allow comments to your video posts, please remember you may not like what you hear from others. However if the comment is derogatory or inappropriate, please send us an inquiry and Activecooks will determine if the comment(s) should be removed.

You certify by posting your video that you are not knowingly violating any copyright rules and regulations. Only upload videos that you made or have obtained written permission to use. Do not post videos that you did not make or use content that someone else owns copyrights to.

Do not show brand name labels in your videos. Videos displaying brand names or copyright material are subject to deletion. Please review our Terms & Conditions for further information.

No spam tags, promotion of other video or forum related websites and creating dummy accounts are allowed

Upload Rules

Video size limit is 85mb (10-15min video). Acceptable formats include: MPG, WMV, AVI, FLV, MOV. Please note: a 85mb file will take a few moments to upload depending on your internet connection.

Photos are limited to 250kb (900 pixels).
